Probe 280 Speed Lock

The Speed Lock tensioning is genuinely one-hand operable with gloves on, which matters when you're digging in a hurry. Seven sections packing down to 45 cm fits nicely in my pack's side pocket.

Packed this on a weeklong tour and the 45cm collapsed length fit perfectly in my pack's side pocket. The speed lock tensioning is stiff enough that the sections don't slip, but I can still deploy it with gloves on.

The speed lock system really is glove-friendly, I deployed all 280cm one-handed with mittens on during a practice run. Seven sections pack down to 45cm so it disappears in my pack, and the tension feels solid once locked.
