The semi-rigid base keeps ice screws from poking through my pack, and the double construction feels tough enough for years of alpine abuse. Fits my crampons and a few extras without bulging awkwardly.

The reinforced bottom is a lifesaver—no more worrying about sharp points poking through my pack. I’ve got my ice screws and extra picks all organized in one spot now. Really well thought out for the price.

Tossed this in my pack for a weekend of alpine climbing and it swallowed my crampons, three ice screws, and a spare pick without any of the points poking through. The double closure keeps everything from spilling out when I'm digging around one-handed. Way sturdier than the flimsy sack it replaced.
