Moufles Xenon

Took these up to 4,000m as an emergency layer and forgot they were in the pack until the wind hit. The insulation is just right for camp chores and they kept my fingers warm without the bulk of proper gloves. Biggest surprise is how easy they are to stow when the sun comes back out.

They stuff down to almost nothing in my pack, so I barely notice them until the wind picks up and suddenly these mitts are the best thing I own. The insulation is light but genuinely warm for the weight.

Took these on a chilly summit push and barely noticed them in my pack until the wind hit—the insulation is just enough to keep fingers warm without feeling bulky. They pack down incredibly small, almost flat, which makes them stupidly easy to stash in a jacket pocket for emergencies.
