Finally a ski pant that doesn't feel like a trash bag—the 3-layer GORE-TEX is noticeably lighter and less crinkly than my old pair, yet it still blocked everything on a wet chairlift ride. The lightly insulated backer kept me warm without overheating during spring laps.

The insulation is just right for cold days on the lift—keeps me warm without feeling bulky. After a full day in wet snow, the pants were still bone dry. My only small wish is for a more generous pocket for a phone.
