The spring-tension carabiner clips onto my axe head in a second, even with gloves on. Used it on a windy alpine route and never once worried about losing my tool on a swing.

The spring-tension carabiner clips on one-handed even with gloves, which is exactly what I needed on a windy alpine start. The loop end stays put on my pack and the whole thing weighs basically nothing.

Girth-hitched the loop end to my harness before a long alpine day and it never once tangled or twisted, even on the rappels. The carabiner snaps shut with serious spring tension, so there's zero chance of it working loose mid-pitch. Best leash I've owned for glacier travel.
