Wore these on a wet three-day trek and my feet stayed noticeably drier than without them, even with my boots fully soaked through. The slick inner layer really does let your foot move instead of chafing against the wool layer above.

The fabric is slick on the inside, so they slip on easily over my thin liner socks without bunching. After a full day of slogging through slush, my outer socks were barely damp, which honestly surprised me.
