The 130 routes marked on this thing turned a random Saturday into one of my best days out — we found a couloir we'd skied past a dozen times without knowing it was there. Contour lines are clear enough to read with gloves on, and the 3,000-foot descent notations saved us a lot of guessing.

I've been skiing the Cascades for fifteen years and still found lines on this map I'd never heard of. The 130 routes are marked clearly enough to plan a full day, and the couloir ratings saved me from a sketchy descent last weekend. It's already crumpled from living in my jacket pocket.

The contour lines are detailed enough that I could actually pick out the couloirs I'd been eyeing, and having 130 routes marked saves a ton of planning time. Only gripe is the paper feels a bit thin for something I'll be folding into a jacket pocket all season.
