Took these up a snow couloir on a warm day and my feet stayed comfortable the whole time, which is rare for me. The balance between stiffness and flex makes crampon attachment feel secure without being clunky. Solid value for anyone doing standard Cascades routes.

Used them on a warm July push up Rainier and my feet stayed comfortable the whole way, no hotspots even with crampons strapped on for the upper glacier. The stiffness took a day to break in, but once they did, the edge control on snow felt rock solid.

The balance is what sold me—stiff enough for crampons on the snowfield but still comfy on the rocky descent back to the car. My feet stayed warm on a sunny July push, and the ankle support felt solid on loose scree.
