The palm grip held firm on a cold, dry tooling session, and I never once felt like I was wrestling the axe. They’re warm enough for those milder days but still thin enough to clip gear without fumbling.

Took these out for a mixed route last weekend and the balance is spot on—warm enough for the cold approach, but I could still clip and fiddle with gear without yanking my hands out. The durability on the palm held up against some rough dry tooling, no wear after a full day.

The dexterity on these is unreal for a glove that still feels this warm—I could easily adjust my ice screws without pulling them off during a mixed route session. Dry tooling with them held up way better than I expected, and the fit is snug enough that I never lost grip on my axe.
