Gamma SL Pant Women's

$105.6 ~~$160~~ In stock

This Gamma SL Pant from Arc'teryx is the replacement for the former Gamma Lightweight Pant and is their lightest weight and most breathable softshell pant in the Gamma series. Perfect as the next thing to throw on when wearing shorts just isn't enough. These pants are made from a lightweight stretch woven nylon blend fabric. Great for slightly cool approach hikes and an excellent choice for many mid-summer glacier mountaineering outings like trips on Mt Rainier. The simple leg design fits over most 3-season mountaineering boots and is also perfect for rolling up to just below your knees like mountain knickers to help with temperature control.

I was pleasantly surprised by how packable these pants are — they barely take up any room in my daypack. The breathable softshell fabric worked perfectly during a warm uphill trek without feeling clammy.

Hannah C. ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

I bought these for spring hiking and the articulated knees let me move freely without any bunching. They pack down tiny in my daypack, which is a huge plus for changing conditions on the trail.

Charlotte G. ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

The fabric is incredibly breathable for a softshell—I barely noticed I was wearing them during a steep climb. The waistband sits comfortably under a pack belt without bunching up. Exactly what I needed for fast-moving spring hikes.
