This new Ossa Stowhood Hoody from Arc'teryx is an ultra lightweight hooded softshell jacket that is made with a lot tougher stretch nylon UPF 50+ fabric than your average sun/windshirt that is this light in weight. Excellent durability for a lot of your outdoor needs.. The fabric is slightly stretchy, highly breathable, and wind resistant. Features include a low-profile stowable hood that zips into the collar when not needed, single zippered chest pocket, zippered hand pockets, a full length front zipper, and elasticized cuffs, hood, and hem. Perfect for when you need a little more warmth than a t-shirt can provide, or a little extra protection from the sun and wind. This is a very new unique piece from Arc'teryx that will most likely be different from any other Arc'teryx item that you have ever owned.

I’ve been wearing this on breezy ridge hikes and the UPF 50+ fabric blocks sun surprisingly well without feeling heavy. The stretch nylon moves with me when I reach for holds, and it stuffs into its own hood for packing. Only wish the hood had a cinch, but for the weight it’s a solid windshell.
