James E. ★★★★★

The removable PrimaLoft Gold liner is the reason I bought these, and it does not disappoint—toasty on a 20-degree chairlift ride without the shell, then I snapped the waterproof outer over it for the stormy afternoon. The modular system actually works in practice, not just on paper.

Julian O. ★★★★★

The seam-taped GORE-TEX shell held up through a full day of wet snow without a hint of dampness, and the Primloft Gold liner kept my fingers toasty at 10°F. It's a clever system—swapping between the shell alone and the insulated liner covers everything from mild to brutal without carrying extra pair

Samuel E. ★★★★★

The removable liner is the reason I bought these, and swapping between the shell and full mitts for different conditions works exactly as described. The seam-taped outer keeps my hands dry even when I'm digging through wet snow, and the PrimaLoft insulation is plenty warm for bitter mornings.
