The waterproof coating actually held up when I got caught in a downpour near Stuart Lake, which is more than I can say for my last map. The tear-resistant sheet folds down small enough to cram in a hip pocket without turning into confetti.

Finally a map that survives being shoved in a wet pocket all day. The waterproof sheet held up fine when I got caught in rain near Trap Lake, and the trail junctions matched what I was actually seeing on the ground. Two pages means less folding and refolding, which I appreciated.

Took this on a soggy October hike near Icicle Creek and the paper never once turned to mush in my pocket. The print is sharp enough that I could pick out the smaller lakes without squinting, which matters when the trail junctions get confusing. Two pages folded down small enough to stash in my hip b
