Used this as my mid-layer under a rain shell while skiing in wet, windy weather and my core stayed dry and warm the whole time. The synthetic insulation held up better than my old down jacket did when it got damp.

Packed it for a weekend in the mountains where temps swung from freezing mornings to mild afternoons, and the synthetic insulation kept me comfortable without overheating.

I’ve been wearing it under my rain shell on damp Seattle hikes and the Coreloft insulation keeps me perfectly warm without feeling bulky. The fit is trim enough to layer cleanly but still allows full arm movement. Definitely my go-to for active days in cool weather.
