黑鳥冰斧

The head's profile is noticeably thinner than my old axe, making it feel much more balanced when plunging. Cuts steps cleanly into hard snow without excessive effort. Solid performer for the price.

I'd been using a heavier tool before, but the Blackbird's balanced swing and comfortable grip make longer snow climbs feel much less fatiguing. It's a solid, no-fuss piolet that handles everything from steep snow to easy ice without complaint.

Brought this along on a glacier traverse and the way the head is shaped made step-cutting feel natural right from the start. It’s light enough to swing all day without getting tired.
