I’ve worn these for a couple of glacier trips and they keep my fingers warm without sacrificing any grip on the ice axe. The close fit means I can still fiddle with zippers or a camera. Exactly what I needed for those cold, active mornings.

Took these up on a cool-weather hike and was surprised how nimble my fingers stayed while adjusting pack straps and zipping layers. The close fit means no flapping fabric, yet they were warm enough for the whole descent.

The fit is snug enough that I can still fiddle with zippers and buckles without pulling them off, which is rare for me. They’ve held up well on a few chilly glacier hikes and kept my hands warm without feeling bulky.
