Leopard FL Crampon

The aluminum build is so light I forgot they were in my pack until I needed them, and the CORD-TEC link makes them fold up into something smaller than my water bottle. They bit into the firm snow on my approach hike exactly as promised, no slipping on the steeper pitches.

Packed these for a week of alpine traverses and the CORD-TEC system made them collapse flat into my pack without snagging. They bit into the firm spring snow reliably on the 10 points. Exactly what I needed for approaches where every gram counts.

I barely notice the weight on long snow approaches, and the flexible linking system folds them down smaller than any pair I've owned. The ten points bite well on firm spring corn without feeling aggressive.
