Category: Climbing Accessories

An ultralight nut aluminum tool from Metolius for those lightweight alpine missions.  Built-in wiregate helps save additional weight by eliminating the need for that additional piece of gear.  The curved shape allow easier access to reach around behind gear, and the tapered nose fits in thin cracks. The hook grabs onto cam triggers, and the notch at the end makes it easier to pound gear free.  The curved and flat pounding surface at the wiregate end of the tool makes it easier on your hand when trying to hammer pieces free with the palm of your hand.

Aurora ★★★★★

Took this on a two-day alpine push and barely noticed it in my pack. The integrated wiregate means one less carabiner to fiddle with on cold, gloved hands. Aluminum body feels solid despite how little it weighs.

Eli ★★★★★

The built-in wiregate is a clever touch, saved me from digging for a separate biner on a windy ledge. Weighs basically nothing on the harness and the head still grips nuts solidly.

Edward ★★★★★

Took this on a two-week alpine trip and barely noticed it in my pack. The wiregate being built right in means one less thing to clip on and lose, and it's stiff enough to actually work nuts loose.
