Constructed with ultra lightweight stretch-woven ripstop polyester fabric in the body and lightweight stretch-knit fabric in the lower sleeves and hood for the perfect balance of wind and weather resistance and warmth while on the move. Other features include a deep front double zipper for venting and temperature control, a soft comfortable form-fitting hood for added warmth during pre-dawn departures, extra long sleeves that can be pulled down over the hands for extra warmth or pushed up the forearms for added cooling, and a zippered chest pocket that converts to a stuff sack for ease of stowability when not in use. The hood fits perfectly under a helmet, and I love that it packs down to almost nothing in my pack. It blocks the wind well for such a light piece, though I wish the fabric had a bit more stretch for freedom of movement. Solid value for a lightweight wind layer.
